How to remove duplicate lines
Paste your list or text into the left box, one item per line. Duplicate lines are removed instantly and the unique lines appear on the right. The counter shows how many duplicates were deleted.
How are duplicates found?
Every line is compared with the lines above it. When a line already appeared, it is removed. The order of your list does not change, so the first copy of each line stays where it was. The counter also helps you find duplicate lines of text: it shows how many were removed.
Ignore case and spaces
With “Ignore upper/lower case” on, “Apple” and “apple” count as the same line. “Ignore spaces at start and end” treats “apple” and “apple ” as duplicates too – useful for lists copied from spreadsheets.
Remove empty lines too
Keep “Remove empty lines” switched on to delete empty lines at the same time, so you get a clean list with only unique lines.
